Leigh Vanatter and Jennie Ross 1897

One more time. The original looks about like this but more faded. I love this portrait !! Not sure if it is the engagement portrait or the actual wedding day. Black River Falls, Wisconsin. 1897. There are individual portraits that appear to be the same day. Jennie Myrtle Ross and Leigh Leonard Vanatter.

Dad's Retirement Day

Mom and I went to Sears in East Los Angeles in 1992 to take some photos of Dad on his last day as a Sears Employee. He posed for me in the bright sun. This is taken standing in front of the Auto Center. The original is in color. I like this expression. He is like here she goes again! Taking my picture. I am just glad he didn't have those glasses that turn dark in the sun. He wore them alot after that. This is my favorite one from that day. He was 60 then. His badge says Gene Vanatter.

My Nieces in the snow Christmas 2008

Burrrrr. Cute cold girls. I want to go there (Calivaris Big Trees) with you guys and the little guys some time in the warm weather. Looks like fun. I have been to Sequoia National Park. I loved it. Maybe in the summer with Scott and Becky some year.
