So this building just opened as a new resturant called the Buffulo Grille. It is really great. Try the pasta dish with the Italian Sausage $9.99. Really rich and good. Homemade Carrot Cake. This building used to be a car dealership in the 30's or 40's. There was a bowling alley down stairs in the late 40's where mom's cousin Carole bowled. There was a skating rink upstairs in the 40's and 50's where my Mom skated.
Across the street is the Nu-Grill where my Dad worked when my brother was a baby. They used to stay open until 2 a.m. for the Railroad workers. Their hamburgers are out of this world. Grilled onions cooked into them. Oh so good.

Chicken Annie's
Our Dad's half-sister Kathleen (Barlow) Smith.
We met at Chicken Annies near Pittsburg, Kansas.
This is her son Jason's new baby Elliott Smith.
This area had been strip mined in the 60's and before.
That left huge pits. The laws have since changed.
They now are required to fill then in.
They say you can't swim in them because
they belong to private individuals.
